NAVI is open to customers and providers in Corpus Christi, and anyone can create an account. Here are answers to the most common questions.
Describe the service you need, choose a category, and add your location and any photos that help explain the job. Local providers in your area can then submit quotes. There's no cost to post a job or to receive quotes.
Providers submit their own price and estimated timeline for your job. You can compare multiple providers side by side — their rating, experience, verification status, and price — before choosing who to hire. You're never obligated to accept a quote.
When you accept a quote, NAVI adds a small marketplace fee on top of the provider's price, shown in full before you pay — nothing is added later. Payment is authorized (held) when you accept and is charged only after your provider marks the job complete and you confirm it. See our Terms of Service for the exact fee structure.
Your payment page stays open for a limited time (about 30 minutes). If Stripe's page told you "You're all done here", or your payment page expired, check the job in NAVI first. If NAVI shows your provider as hired, you don't need to pay again. If it doesn't, tap "Accept & Pay" to start again. If your bank shows a pending authorization (a hold) and NAVI doesn't show the job as booked, contact NAVI support before trying again.
You can cancel a job before a provider begins work at no charge.
If something is wrong after work has started and your payment is still on hold (not yet charged), choose "Report a problem with this work" on the job screen. While your report is open your payment is not charged, and NAVI reviews it. You can withdraw the report if the problem is fixed.
If your payment has already been charged, choose "Request a Refund" on the job screen instead. NAVI reviews every report and refund request personally rather than deciding automatically, since every situation is different. You can also email us at support@navimarketplace.com.
NAVI has verification steps for identity, license, and insurance, and which ones apply depends on the services a provider offers. Depending on the provider, a profile may show verified badges for these — a badge reflects only what NAVI has actually verified for that provider, shown directly on their profile. A missing badge means that item hasn't been verified yet, not that anything is wrong. A license or insurance a provider reports about themselves is not verified by NAVI. Background screening is not available yet; when it launches it will be optional, and a profile will show "Background Check Completed" only after a screening has actually been completed.
Use the "Report a Problem" button available on every screen for bugs or general questions, or email us directly at support@navimarketplace.com. For a safety concern specifically, visit our Safety page.
